Jordan CP3.IIIs, Chris Paul's 3rd Signature Shoe.
I have seen CP3.IIs online and in person. Read reviews on it, and it was determined that CP3.IIs are definitely a 5 out of 5 star rating performer on the hardwood. Now, a year or so after the CP3.IIs debuted, Chris Paul is coming out with the 3rd installment to his CP3 family. The CP3. IIIs use Jordan Brands NEWEST technology called the Podulon Technology. Chris wanted his shoe to be the most durable shoe possible, the Podulon technology helps the shoe maintain its "fresh-out-of-the-box" feeling everytime you wear it. Pretty cool in my opinion, and as for the design of the shoe you ask? Check it out for yourself.

Nike Air Max Rise.
If you havent heard of the Nike Air Max Rise, GET ON IT!! PE's ( Personal Editions) of these shoes have been spotted on players like; Brandon Roy and OJ Mayo throughout the 09-10 NBA season, and I must say, they look amazing. If I were able to, I would have bought the OJ Mayo colorway ( B-E-A-UUUUUUUTIFUL! ), but pretty sure they're not going to offer it anytime soon so I went ahead and got myself ( actually girlfriend bought it for me for Christmas<3 ) the Black/White/Gold colorway. In my opinion, the color scheme works great although it might not sound too pleasant. Its available in many different arrays of colorways and available at most Footlockers except HoH ( House of Hoops ), so if you get a chance check them out, its definitely worth it. Cant say much in regards to how it performs yet, but as soon as i do, ill post up a review.

Jordan Melo M6

The REVIEW!!!!
3. Material : Alright, so there are around 4 different types of material that was put into this shoe. Synthetic Patent Leather, Mesh, Synthetic Leather ( they use SYNTHETIC LEATHER because it is said to be LIGHTER, i dig it ) and another one that i do not know the name of. Its a "zippy" feel to it when you run your nails across it. All i know is that it is DEFINITELY much sturdier than the average shoe leather. Check out the picture links that i put up. Resolution should be big enough for you to kind of get an idea of what im talking about. So for the material of this shoe, i would have to say it is made for DURABILITY. At this point it is a little too early for me to determine whether or not these shoes will last a long time, but at this point, these shoes seem to be a keeper ( as in it will last me a long time ).
4. PERFORMANCE : Now, the GOOD stuff. The Melo M6s DELIVER! Put them on, lace them up and youre pretty much ready to go. For some, the Melo M6s might be a little stiff at first. So very little, if any breaking-in might be needed. The materials are pretty solid at the same time very soft, so for me, this shoe was very playable straight out of the box. Extra thick laces help with tightening of the shoe. No need to relace during games or breaks. Just tie them till you know you wont cut off circulation and youre set. Lateral stabability is great. You will be constantly evenly balanced with the Melo M6s. Making cuts left and right doesnt seem to be a probelm with these shoes, thanks to the traditional HERRINGBONE design on the outsole for maximum traction on the hardwood.Getting veritcal ( depending on YOU ) is not a problem with these lightweight warriors. There are perforated holes on the side uppers of this shoe, which gives the shoes enough breathability, but not ALOT. The tongue has 2 inner slotted lacing holes, one in the middle, and one at the very top of the tongue, which helps with the lockdown of your whole feet. I tie the shoes till the VERY last built-in lacing eyelet in which, I think definitely helps with the lockdown of your feet. The shoes run TRUE TO SIZE, unlike the Nike Hyperize ( i tried these on too ), it does not run big ( although there will be a little room for your toes to move around which is normal ). Therefore little slipping might occur on VERY hard stop-and-go situations.
5. Design : LOOK AT IT! you dont like them ? eh, like i said, the looks of the shoes do NOT have to be UP THERE with the performance. In this case, the performance of this shoe makes up for the looks. In my opinion though, these are the best looking Melo M Series that Jordan Brand has come out with. It definitely got a couple of "Hey, what are those?" and "Are those the new Melos ?" on the court the other day.
Comfort - 9/10
I will review the shoe on these standards.
1. COMFORT!!!!! The shoes HAS, HAS, HAS to be comfortable. Am i wrong ??
2.WEIGHT! Weight for some might not be an issue, but to me it is CRITICAL!
3. MATERIAL! The use of lets say, Zoom Air compared to Lunar Foam. Zoom Air > Lunar Foam. In other words, depending on the materials that the shoe offers, it will either INCREASE durability or wear-and-tear much faster.

4.PERFORMANCE! Out-Of-The-Box playability is always good. However, breaking-in is usually the case for most basketball shoes.
5. DESIGN! Doesnt have to be UP THERE with the performance and everything else, but it doesnt hurt to have a good looking basketball shoe either.
1.Comfort : The Melo M6's a great feeling shoe. The moment you put them on and tie up the laces, you will know that it is an awesome specimen ( even though it isnt alive, but you catch my drift ).The padding on the achilles is a +1, top it off with a tongue that wraps your ankles ? +2 my friends. I have never come across a basketball shoe where the tongue actually helps you with SLIPAGE ( slipping of the foot when coming to a stop-and-go situation for an example ) AND ankle lock down. Ill have to say the only downside to this shoes comfort is the back part of the shoe. Even with the padding AROUND the achilles, it doesnt have padding ON the achilles, which digs in and rubs against it. I wear low ankle socks, so quarter socks and high ankle socks just might do the trick. The Dual-Density Injected Phylon is cushiony and very comfy. Just grab a hold of the shoe and play with the Dual-Density Injected Phylon. Press in and squeezing it will show you a little bit of what im talking about. Zoom Air, need i say more ? Cant go wrong with Zoom Airs low profile design to keep you to the ground as low as possible while still giving the forefoot cushioning that you expect Zoom Air to deliver. Creasing is normal with this shoe. I HATE, i repeat HATE shoes that crease awkwardly giving your toes a horrible ride during basketball games. I need a shoe that flows with your foot, making it seem like its not even there. Melo M6s deliver on that part also. For those who like to take it to the hole up-strong, Melo M6s GOTS YOUR FEET!! This is where the Dual-Density Injected Phylon comes into play with the help of its friend Zoom Air. For the high-fliers, the impact is the LEAST of your problems. Think of it like this, JUST FOCUS ON FINISHING! Let the shoes do the rest.
2. Weight : "In the Red Corner, weighing in at around 14.oz, MELOOoOoOOoooOO M6!!!!" Like i mentioned before, the weight of the basketball shoe is critical to me. Therefore, i always try to research or atleast get an idea of how much a shoe weighs before i go out and cop them. These shoes won me over both in comfort and weight so far. Comparing these to my Nike Huaraches 09, the Melo M6s are an OUNCE lighter! Yes, LIGHTER. Not possible? Go and test it out yourself. Playing with the Melo M6s, i tried out a couple of things to determine whether or not these shoes were light. First was the KICK test. So what i do is stand still and just kick UP as fast as i can to feel if the shoes WEIGHT would throw off my balance. NADA! Then i tried the JUMP test. See if my veritcal reach was the same with these shoes. YUP, still rimming it with a 2 step jump. So as far as weight goes, these are some light ***** man..( it says SHOES ).

Change of Plans..
Ok, so for the people that saw my blog....sorry to say, but i did not keep the Nike Zoom Skyposites that i had ordered few days back for the reasons being ;
1. Too Stiff. ( probably break-inable, but even then it felt like that would not do much as for playability. ) In other words, you wont be able to play 100% STRAIGHT out of the box.
2. A bit on the HEAVY side. Yes, i said HEAVY. Compared it to the Nike Foamposite Lites, and they were about the same weight. Also, the Foamposite Lites are more DEFINITELY more comfortable.
3. I had a problem with the shoe digging RIGHT underneath my ankle bone ( the little bone thats right under the ankle bone ), it kept creasing awkwardly, making it VERY uncomfortable.
4. For a MID-CUT shoe, ankle protection was not there. I might have not tied the shoe hard enough, but just to tell you, i tie my shoe till its tight enough so that i dont cut off circulation. Doing that, there was no ankle protection there. -1 on Nikes part.
5. Finally, EVERYONE knows the feeling, "THIS IS NOT THE SHOE FOR ME" the MINUTE you try the shoe on and walk around in it for a minute or two. This shoe was one of those for me.
